Organizing global conferences

conference-175By organizing global conferences the Forum for Economists International offers a platform for economists and scholars in related disciplines worldwide. We encourage multi- and interdisciplinary debate among economists and other scholars.

In addition to general economic topics we welcome papers on topics in the fields of accounting, Asian economies, behavioral economics, demography, economic philosophy, economic psychology, economic sociology, environmental economics, health economics, law & economics, management, political sciences, public administration, public policy, etc.

Primary goal

Our primary goal is the exchange of ideas and research results not only within the global economic community, but also between related disciplines.

The Forum for Economists International organized successful global conferences in Amsterdam, Netherlands, in 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016 with participants from all continents representing many universities and institutions (including finance ministries, central banks, IMF, World Bank, etc.).

ateneo-150The Forum held its first Asian conference in December 2015 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The 8th Global Conference will be held in Manila, January 12-15, 2017.

ams150The 9th Global Conference will be held in Amsterdam, May 19-22, 2017.

Participants may or may not present a paper. All submissions are subject to peer review. Both non-presenting attendees and presenters may be requested to serve as discussant and/or session chair.

Please note that each participant is responsible for her/his own expenses and registration fee. The Forum for Economists International has no financial support or scholarships available for potential participants.
