Organizing global conferences
By organizing global conferences the Forum for Economists International offers a platform for economists and scholars in related disciplines worldwide. We encourage multi- and interdisciplinary debate among economists and other scholars.
In addition to general economic topics we welcome papers on topics in the fields of accounting, Asian economies, behavioral economics, demography, economic philosophy, economic psychology, economic sociology, environmental economics, health economics, law & economics, management, political sciences, public administration, public policy, etc.
Our primary goal is the exchange of ideas and research results not only within the global economic community, but also between related disciplines.
The Forum for Economists International organized successful global conferences in Amsterdam, Netherlands, in 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016 with participants from all continents representing many universities and institutions (including finance ministries, central banks, IMF, World Bank, etc.).
Participants may or may not present a paper. All submissions are subject to peer review. Both non-presenting attendees and presenters may be requested to serve as discussant and/or session chair.
Please note that each participant is responsible for her/his own expenses and registration fee. The Forum for Economists International has no financial support or scholarships available for potential participants.
